They won’t list the actual percentile below 50th on Edge, to avoid embarrassment I assume.

McDavid is certainly among the fastest skaters, but why is it so hard to believe there were four players who reached speeds that were very slightly faster? Do you have reason to think the chips are faulty?

Keep in mind McDavid was ranked the fastest in short-bursts over 22MPH. Those bursts of speed are a huge part of his overall impact in game situations.
