I didn't get a chance to start the Full Keeper League last night. I will try to do it after work today.

I had received an invite to the Partial Keeper League and I signed up.

That puts me in both the regular and partial keeper leagues.

Again, put me in the camp that I will drop out of a league if needed to make sure everyone has room to play.

Update:

I'm not going to try to keep track of who is in each league as it was getting a little confusing, because not everyone was posting the league name they were in. If you are a commissioner, you can ask on your Yahoo league message board and then post a list. Don't post any guesses though. It really isn't that big of a deal.

Leagues still looking for members:

CBJ Keeper League (4 of 10)
CBJ Partial Keeper No Prospect (7 of 10)
Doug MacLean Hockey League (6 of 12)
HF Jackets (4 of 10)

The Doug MacLean League, a PARTIAL keeper WITH prospects is still at 6 guys. 12 obviously was a little much to hope for, but would like to have at least 8 teams signed up and I'm sure the others would too.

Draft is "set" for next Sun the 4th at 8.

Head to head.

Anywhere from 7-10 "keepers" depending on what majority wants.

With only 3 NA spots for prospects, even if we somehow got to 10 teams you're looking at the top 30-40 prospects in hockey. You wouldn't have to worry about "scouting" lower end prospects.

I've finally found enough people interested to do a fantasy hockey league myself -- any advice for a fantasy hockey noobie?

It's looking like we won't have enough for a full keeper league with prospects. 8 people voted for it and only 4 have signed up.

Should we come to an agreement and join up?? Would make 10?

My only issue with a FULL keeper league has to do with that I just joined an existing league that's been going on for 4 yrs I think. Although it would be different as I, or whomever, could draft most of who I would like, I just don't like that there's NO restrictions on how many you can keep. It affects how "easy" or "hard" it is for a really good or really bad team to STAY good or bad. I think that takes away a good bit of fun. Also while the (rookies+"unclaimed") draft I just did wasn't THAT bad, it could have been better with a larger pool of players.

We'll see. I like full keeper because it seems to increase activity and trades in the ones I have been in. When you have a bad year, you can trade players for prospects/picks for example.

We have four leagues there and seemingly only enough owners for three (or two and a half...). We are getting down to it and thinking about the best way to get everyone in a league, even if it's not their preference.

I'm signed up for the partial keeper no prospects (Espen's league). It's technically full (8), but could probably handle 2 (or even 4) more teams. I'm not sure how on-board Espen is, just spitballing.

To me the easiest way is to combine the two full keepers into one league;that being said I will re-open the partial Keeper (3 guys-no 1st 2 rd picks kept) and accept guys like Noah did- 2 at a time to keep an even league. Max will be 12 teams. Draft is this coming Monday at 7 EDT. If you want to join pm me - when I get two requests I'll expand the league size and send you a request. You will have no more than a day to do so and probably less-I've had one guy who has asked and been invited 2 times and still he hasn't signed up. No time for that game. An even number of players is crucial-odd number = no draft. So if you want to join let me know and I'll try and accommodate you.

The HF Jackets league is full. The draft is currently set for Sunday at 8:30pm. If that doesn't work for anyone then let me know but there's not much time before the season starts.
