Fantasy Hockey League Sign Up Thread

Okay, let's try this one more time :). The last thread wasn't meant to be a true sign up thread, but one to see how much interest there was in each league. It got confusing for some, so let's try to make this simple and easy.

Please post here if you would like to be a commissioner for one of the leagues. Once we have a commissioner or 2 for a league, they can set up their league on Yahoo and then post the link here. Then, it will be first-come, first served. You can sign up for as many leagues as you would like, but I think it would be best to only sign up for one regular league to start with. Since that is the most popular, I think it would be best to try to let as many people get in it first, before we start signing up for multiple regular leagues.

I think the best way to do this is have a Full Keeper League, A Partial Keeper League, and a Regular League. There can be more than one league for each. And if you would like to have a different league, you can post it here. I would think it would be best for the commissioners to set their leagues to 8-10 members per league.

When you sign up for a league, post here, so everyone knows who is in their league.

And, PLEASE, if you have any questions ask them right away.

Well Idk how many people would like to do similar "settings" as me, but I'll volunteer as a commish and try for a 10(or 12 max) team partial keeper league. I'd like it to not be THAT in depth, but have some pretty "serious" and active managers.

My ideas(which could be changed a bit if enough want) would be like this:

*Head to Head---Goals--Assists--Points--(+/-)--PIMs--PPP--SHP--SOG||Gms Started--Wins--GAA--SV%--Shutouts

*2-Centers/2-Left Wings/2-Right Wings/4-Forwards/5-Defense/3-Goalies/5-Bench/2-IR

**3-NA Spots For "PROSPECTS"

##10 Keepers+ your 3 NA "prospects"

Draft time can be worked out for what's best for guys, but I'd like it to be just before the regular season starts

I'll add it in a little bit. I think an 8 or 10 team league would be better though. Especially since you are adding prospects as part of it.

Personally I'd like more than 8. 10 is good but if we get to that point and there's still a couple people who'd like to still get in and guys don't care, I wont lock guys out.

I don't disagree. I am just going off the people who voted in the last thread. There weren't that many who voted for this type of league. Just be open to changing a few things if need be is all I am saying.

I joined the partial keeper as the ferocious-sounding "danger kitties". Yes, I have beer in my system still from the Scorpions concert last night XD

No. We should have plenty. There are a ton who haven't signed up yet.

Joined the Doug McLean Hockey League as Crazy Jacket. I haven't done a keeper league before should be fun!
