Ballard on Tootoo was perfect at the end of this, no reason that should have been a penalty.

It's a great hit, made even better by how rarely Kuch gets hit clean. I don't know if we've seen him hit hard since Kronwall, and he took two in that game. The Petry hit was a thing of beauty.

Yeah that was a pretty poor “hip check” by any stretch.

It may not have been bone crushing or technically perfect, but it effectively took the reigning Art Ross trophy winner out of the play
