Fans of teams eliminated from playoffs, who are you cheering for?

Why not? Do Americans have the whole "keep the cup in the USA" thing going or is it more like you think the drought is funny and are enjoying the chaos?
“Elitist” isn’t exactly the word I’m looking for, but there’s a subset of Canadians who act basically like gatekeepers and that the game might as well just be in Canada.

Nothing against the players but I do like to root against Canadian teams to an extent lol.

I’m cheering for awesome playoff hockey. Been craving this since the 4Nations. Best sporting event (outside the Olympics) on the planet.

If I had to choose, I’d go with the Avs. I love the way they play the game.

Washington, Edmonton and Blues.

But, if im being honest i'm probably going to mostly be cheering for whoever is playing against Toronto, Montreal, Tampa, Ottawa and Florida. Which will be hard since they'll play against eachother, but i'll find a way.

I would be fine with Sens, Canes, Devils, Stars, or Jets, basically teams I don't have much to hate on and thier cores that haven't won a cup yet. I will probably be wanting the most to win is either the Sens or Jets.

Three years ago, Edmonton beat LA in seven.
Two years ago, Edmonton beat LA in six.
Last year, Edmonton beat LA in five.

So if you don’t want to pay attention to the playoffs for too long, come hop on the LA bandwagon. It’s more of a short bus though.

Rooting for Winnipeg, since the increase cap could really hurt them.

Watched Winnipeg destroy my wings live early in the season was really impressed by there defense.

But I cant see a team with Namestikov as there 2C winning the cup.

In my playoff pool Im picking Vegas for my cup team, they're stacked with heavy forwards and the best blueline in the league and are relatively healthy. Going to be the team to beat.

Devils fan here. I hope they prove the consensus wrong.

For fun, I'd like to see Ottawa or Montreal make a run. Both teams have a fun young core. It would be great for the game and Canada (I'm American).

Capitals or the Oilers.
Capitals because of their shrewd re-tool, and wouldn't mind Ovie winning another cup.
Oilers because McDavid and Draisaitl deserve a win, but also Ekholm deserves to lift that trophy for being a solid d-man for so many years and going underrated for the longest time.
