Fans of teams eliminated from playoffs, who are you cheering for?

If I wasn’t a bruins fan, I’d be rooting for the Habs. Didn’t expect them to be as good as they’ve been this year and they’ve got multiple players worth watching. Games played in Montreal are just fantastic to watch come playoff time.

But since I am a bruins fan, I’ll pick another underdog in Ottawa.

As much pleasure as I get out of watching certain teams lose, I get no pleasure seeing the Canada cup drought continue. I remember rooting hard for the Flames over the Lightning in 2004 when I was a sophomore in high school. Team from Florida just should not beat the team from Alberta. That didn’t work out and here we are 21 years later.

I’ll gladly root for an Ottawa-Winnipeg final.

I prefer to cheer for an eastern time zone team as it works with my schedule better….. I assume I’ll watch a lot of the Toronto/ott series and Montreal series.
