Yeah they quite literally can't help themselves but spit vitriol anytime they hear or read his name, I don't think that justification makes it much better lol. Just a week ago an entire arena booed the hell out of him after his 1000th point, over 60% of which came from the Islanders. They're telling everyone who will listen how much they're over their ex yet they're up at 3 am 200 posts deep into their instagram

I find it goes the other way with Habs fans, just EXTREME pessimism lol. I recently moved to Montreal and the discussion I'm overhearing in the YMCA locker room makes me feel like I need to talk most of these frenchmen off the ledge
