$95 for a t-shirt

$145 for a hoody

And this is the fanatics house shit that super low quality crap.

Nevermind their Lululemon partnership

Absolute insanity, something has to give.

Browsing the Fanatics NHL shop is like browsing at the Armani outlets.

Yet people are still buying this overpriced garbage.
But if you order now there's FREE SHIPPING!

The way i see it they should be paying me to wear their company's logo on my body.

Quality gear at reasonable prices is fine but this is just robbery for a trash Fanatics product that's as bad as knockoffs. Only bought once from them and never again.

The player t-shirt prices here in Canada are beyond Pejorative Slured….

Here’s a few

View attachment 927919

Shit, I remember when the much much much better quality Reebok player name and number tshirts were like $25 Canadian….maximum.

f***ing lirl at all the idiots buying this toilet paper quality Fanatics horseshit.

I wish I knew of things to come.

I remember buying a RBK t-shirt for 20 bucks at Dunhams years ago.
I still have it, and while it's washed out a little bit it's still structurally sound, can't say the same for the one Fanatics branded shirt I bought 2 years ago.

The Twilight Zone
Even minor league gear is overpriced. Wanted to get some AHL or ECHL stuff for my kids, but just can't justify it.

OTOH I do get custom designed t-shirts that are hockey or F1 themed for my kids when they're on sale for under $20. My oldest loved his "Moves like Jagr" shirt when he was in kindergarten, and his current fave is a t-shirt of Bobby Orr flying through the air.

A weird stance for a hockey fan to be proud of

Not really.

Tickets, merch, all the streaming services you need to even watch the games nowadays, etc. etc. etc. are all overpriced way too damn high.

Yet the quality of the on-ice product most nights is a watered down, inconsistently officiated, sleep inducing joke of a low….

With the Canadian economy the way it is right now, I’m not giving hundreds of dollars a season to a league that really doesn’t give a damn about its fans.

American made wear are complete crap.
Not only its over priced but it will get bad after a few wash.

I bought t-shirts from funkybudha in greece and they last and still fit me after 8 years and 30 extra lbs for only 24 euros?

Dont waste your money on over priced goods, its not good for the environement.

I wonder how much it costs to buy a silk screen system and maybe some low end 3d printer.

But Elliotte Friedman & Kyle Bukauskas said in the 32 Thoughts interview with The Fanatics founder yesterday that the price hadn't gone up?

It’s cheaper for stuff down here, no taxes and all.

Seriously though, Fanatics is beyond awful. I bought a Large Panthers Cup polo, was $65 (which is too much but it was the Cup so whatever), it fit like an XXL. Hung at the shoulders, belled out around the waist, the collar was shit…Fanatics stuff sucks and I know better. Hell, my wife knows better and she only buys stuff for me lol. Their sleeves are always off, I’ve had the logos be all sideways. Garbage, and they charge a ton for it.

Prices are ok if the quality met that standard. These are 2-8$ clothes with logos on. Why would you put your logo on something shitty?
I get wanting to support your team but it would be nice to get something in return.

I get why one would want an authentic jersey and was willing to pay extra for it, but a t-shirt? Just buy it for $5 from China.

its 9 bucks for a pound of butter (non-sale price) 6 bucks for a dozen of eggs 3-5 bucks for a loaf of bread in Canada .

but minimum wage is 17 ish so I guess we can all afford this.

some of the car payments that the younger folks I work with have blow my mind . 700$ a month to lease a nissan rogue , what !

Limiting your customer base to 1% of the population is a bold strategy. This might work for Balenciaga but probably not the National Hockey League.

I think team logo merch is pretty dumb even when it’s affordable, though. Your clothes don’t also need to be a billboard, especially not one you get no residuals for.
I love rocking my jerseys and single hat, but yeah. I bought them at semi reasonable prices. This is NHL products acting like the overpriced garbage they are, unfortunately.
