Fan 960 Should Fire Steinberg

Everyone is entitled to their opinion...until its dumb. Steinberg is great man. Sometimes I don't agree with his takes, but he is always articulate and prepares a well reasoned argument more often than not. Did you hear his on-the-fly interview with Feaster when he traded JBow? His questioning was fantastic, so much so that Elliotte Friedman (whom I think is probably one of the best sports journalists) gave him props the next day.

If any of the Fan 960 crew needs to be reconsidered, it is probably the morning guys.

Love how interactive Steinberg is. Not a big fan of Walker and very meh on Rhett. Overall, for the amount that I actually listen to them, I really don't mind, but like I said, I like how Stein actually takes the time to talk hockey with bums like me on twitter.

Sorry Bozybo, Steinberg is gonna be around a long time. The guy has really moved up fast. I like Steinberg, in fact I am listening to him right now. The only times i tune him out is when he starts talking MMA.

Actually the 960 line up is the best it has ever been IMO. But I wish they had Loubardius full time, and more local stuff.

Also, I am really hoping that TSN radio is looking at Calgary. Not that I am unhappy with the FAN960, it would be nice to have another option and it would force the Fan to get better.

You mean drinking and partying? That seems to be the most important thing to the guy. He's not a religious dude. I like Steinberg. He works hard and prepares well. I liked Kerr too. Walker can go as far as I'm concerned. Comes across as a douchie frat boy and his views are not well thought out at all.

960 was better with richards, kirkwook and kerr. i like pstein but this is not close to being the stations best lineup imo

Some of Mike Richards comedy bits were great, but it started to get old. And Mike Richards talking sports was terrible. The only thing that made him somewhat credible were the quality of guests that he could get.

Rob Kerr was great at times. But his whole "Lets talk about headshots and concussions for the next three hours straight" routine was pathetic. The guy actually thought the more he talked about headshots the less players would do it. He even said that. He was very good on Overtime though.

It is weird how some radio personalities are loved by some and totally turn off other people. For example, Jim Rome is perhaps the biggest name there is in sports talk radio. I can't stand him. I always turn off the FAN960 every morning a 10, when he comes on.

he might be a nice guy but stein berg should do whl hockey not nhl it is a sad state on the hockey fans in this city that he runs an afternoon show as well as the flames host and overtime imagine him trying to hold an arguement with any other host in any market in the nhl
