the ai in the video game is pretty dumb, they managed to bring that point across in the show, i wish that they double down on that in season two... turn it into idiocracy

if i didn't know the video game i think i would have been more disappointed as the few storylines struggle to build up the drama, i grew tired of the vaults... i dont really care what happens there..., if they become more Pejorative Slured it will be at least funny

It was way better than I would have expected it to be. Walton Goggins carried a lot of it but they really nailed the feel of the Fallout universe -- to me, anyways. I played Fallout 3 years ago and it made me want to try it again.

Finally got around to starting this, 3 eps in and i'm hooked.

Really good show. Watched all the episodes in about 3 days.

I had heard of Fallout but never played it. I was surprised that the first game was released back in 97. That was peak era for my computer game playing days, so not too sure how I missed it!

My one gripe would be that the ghoul was having issues with the Maximus as the knight in episode 2 until he got his foot stuck. This part was fine as I understand Maximus is new to the suit so it wasn't smooth sailing.

But then in the final episode the ghoul knows the exact knights weakness and takes out three of them in very short succession.

Amazon needs to step up and hire the rest of the boys. Make the second season truly terrible.

He was also on an episode of Angry Video Game Nerd (on YouTube) that covered the old Home Alone games. He seems like a gamer and a nerd. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he loved the Fallout games and the first season and called up the producers to ask if he could be in the second.

It was a very unique show, in a good way. I think it would be hard for someone to match what they did with S1. Looking forward to S2.

After it was done my GF was like "well now I think I need you to play the game," and I was, from what I gather the series and characters aren't based off a game narrative, it just takes place in the world. She was disappointed.

Haha, that's pretty funny.

Kind of the opposite for me. My wife is a huge Fallout fan (won her some major points with me when we met lol). The worlds and story of the games is still pretty great though, even if it doesn't relate to the series.
