One of my favourite things to pop up on the internet lately.
I thought that the Wild would crater without Kaprizov, but they are still winning games and some against actual good teams.
It always seems to be Kaprizov that causes us major problems, so I don't think it's reasonable to write this one off like normal Wild games with him being out. I think we need to get the W here, because the Avalanche game will be a chore with it being the 3rd in 4, second of a back to back, and at high altitude.
I'd start Skinner against the Wild and try and get the points in the game that we'll probably be better positioned to win.
Remember Wild have some absurdly good young up, Rossi, Boldy, Faber, and maybe even Jiricek if he improves to his draft stature. Kaprizov actually has a very good core around him.

Watching the Wild play Vegas the other night was like watching hockey die. For two periods at least. Then Minny died and Vegas took over. For much of the game it looked like both teams weren't even remotely capable of scoring a goal and that it wasn't the intent of hockey.
In fairness neither Kaprisov or Eichel were playing but man it was some dim viewing.
Yep!Oil call up Philp and hopefully he gets a run of a few games here.
