Will definitely give this a watch. I think it's a good thing that a Company like Amazon is getting behind the NHL.

Wait till you hear him launch into a tirade of the Oilers just missing the blocked shots/hits parlay
Love the McDavid haters such as yourself for years saying McDavid is a bad leader because he shows no emotion, now you see a behind the scenes and he's showing emotion and you haters call it "temper tantrum" or a "tirade".

Such predictable behavior from the McDavid hater crew on here.

I was the first person on this site to say he's a top 10 all time player

This show looks like it’s going to be awesome
Apparently, Amazon seems to be eying a big chunk of games out of the next TV deal and seem quite invested with the NHL.

This looks interesting and their Monday night package also looks like it's being done well and while I'm not big on streaming games but of all the big sites I prefer prime, I think they will spend the money to keep it from looking bush league imo.

This is a lot better than Sportsnet / TSN shit you can watch. I hope NHL moves over to Amazon.

In all of those clips no one is screaming like an adolescence. Those players are clearly frustrated and using profanity to get their message across but none of them are having a wild out-of-control temper tantrum.

lol, Kobe's antics are a school yard bully, he at one point refused to talk to a teammate who was in the stall next to him for an entire year because he felt the player was beneath him, not even so much as a "how's the wife and kids?", even one time for an entire year.

Jordan punched a teammate half his size in the face in practice.

You can't take a little yelling in the locker room, you got no business being in pro sports.

When you're at an Oilers banquet and you haven't touched your food once:

(In all seriousness though it's nice to see McDavid showing some emotion for a change)

My daughter plays competitive soccer a year up, but she still lacks the major ‘competitive, win at all costs’ perspective.

She gets upset and takes things personal when a girl on the team will correct her or point out she’s in the wrong position, or didn’t make the correct decision.

I am going to watch every episode of this with her and try to point out that all of these ‘bitchy’ things are just in the interest of winning and you cannot take it personally.

When Nylander says “stop crying bro” on the bench, or McDavid yelling at the top of his lungs at his team, all of these things are good and positive things and I’m hoping this perspective can help her grow in her athletic career by being able to distinguish between a personal attack and getting defensive about it and teammates helping and instructing and directing each other when they’re not doing the right things all in the interest of winning.

Competitive sports have so many life lessons to teach, and I think this one is very important. When you get into your career and you cannot take feedback effectively, you’re going to be miserable.

Best to learn how to handle it young and I think this show will really put a lot of that into perspective for a young athlete

Watched the first ep. Thought it was kinda mid. They really don't show much on ice action or other players not directly involved.
