I can't say zetterlund has contributed much but I attribute most of that to his line mates. He has historically been significantly better though. Your mind was clearly made up from the beginning so I think we're done here.

His brain isn’t as fast as his feet and hands, he got going last night but didn’t have much of a plan. Liked the tenacity and speed but he gave away the puck a few times pretty easily for Colorado

I like the balance of these lines. Replace Highmore with Cousins when he gets back too. Shame we don't have much to replace Gaudette (Halliday maybe?) but maybe he'll play better with Ammo and Cousins.

Amadio goes from a point per game over his previous 5 to on the 4th line, but I do like the lines.

Hopefully Tkachuk can get back on track, I'm not sure how well that line will work if Tkachuk is playing the way he has the last two games, but if Brady and Zetterlund are hard on the forcheck causing mayhem, and Stu can get pucks to them in scoring areas, it could be a fun line to watch.

Ideally we would have included someone other than Ostapchuk in the trade for Zetterlund, but they were apparently pretty high on Ostapchuk...

That said, it's not like Ostapchuk was doing great in his time with the big club, he really needed more time. Jenik might work, he's apparently been doing well in Belleville

Yah might is the word and there is in apparent reluctance to waive Gaudette to call up Jenik. Also they were pretty tight to the cap so they very likely would have needed to move $ out to acquire a 4C and the choices for what I think is the right type of player were not abundant from teams looking like they were going to miss or were out of the hunt
