Spooner did that cute 10-2 move but fundamentally I think Lysell is a better skater. Looks more balanced with a wider stance and in a straight line he's at the very least equal to Spooner.

I think he’s faster, but it might be because spooner never chased down pucks like Lysell did on his last point of the year

Give me Zacha - Minten - Lysell as a third line. This improves the defense responsibilty of the line drastically. Right now I don´t see the place where Poitras can fit in the lineup if the Bruins want to be a playoff team.

Hate to say it but that might be true

The only way he might make it in is if the bruins end up with Martone and there’s some wiggle room in the middle 6 at center

But if he has a great playoffs and then a good start to his season next year, he may make a case that he absolutely belongs in as your second line center

He has to get stronger and shiftier and there’s a path

Poitras has a light frame, He's no Randy Burridge(aging myself). I really don't see him gaining enough strength to offset, being a smallish slower player, regardless of how smartly he sees the game.

It's called an opinion and the eye test. He was pushed around easily quite a bit at the major league level. I don't think he that fast of a skater. Maneuverability, yes, but speed to get by people, not much. smart hockey player and a lot of 2nd effort and great vision. I just don't see him holding up.
Let's see him put on 10 pounds of sturdiness. I hope I'm wrong as he certainly has an NHL brain.
