Easily the best game yet for Lysell against New Jersey.
Rather send Beecher packing then Lysell.Like you said ,he is only 23.Give him time and it will get better .Lysell looked dynamic out there. He won't be 23 until 2026. I think it's nuts to give up on this kid so soon. Let's see if he can build on these games and what he does this off-season to prepare to win a spot out of camp.

It didn’t hurt that he was playing with Zacha and Mittestadt. That’s a high skill line.22! He'll still be 22 at camp and the start of the season. Hope the coaches sit down with him and go over video of this game.
Do you think that Lysell going back to Sweden for the summer a couple of years ago showed up in his play in this game? Feel like if he had stayed in Boston back then he would have made a couple more plays. No report on Lysell's game last night is complete until Mark Divver tweets about it.
A couple of years ago? No way. I do think he should have stayed last summer though.Do you think that Lysell going back to Sweden for the summer a couple of years ago showed up in his play in this game? Feel like if he had stayed in Boston back then he would have made a couple more plays.
I was being facetious. Divver and Allred can’t get past it.A couple of years ago? No way. I do think he should have stayed last summer though.
for the life of me I`ll never understand how Beecher is still getting ice timeRather send Beecher packing then Lysell.Like you said ,he is only 23.Give him time and it will get better .
Beecher and Lysell have nothing to do with each other, Beecher is playing 4th line, and Lysell is not going to play 4th line.Rather send Beecher packing then Lysell.Like you said ,he is only 23.Give him time and it will get better .
Lysell looked more like the player I watched and got excited about when he was younger and initially drafted, but that was his best game so far, lets temper it a bit until we see more consistency. I am anxious also to see what he looks like coming into camp this year and how he spent his offseason.Lysell looked dynamic out there. He won't be 23 until 2026. He has shown it, watch highlights from the last game if you weren’t able to catch it last night.Of course I hope I'm wrong but I feel like if he was anything special he would have shown it by now, even at 22..
Maybe a speedy 3rd liner eventually?
Yea no kidding I was using him as a reference as a shittier player then Lysell.Beecher and Lysell have nothing to do with each other, Beecher is playing 4th line, and Lysell is not going to play 4th line.
Dynamic.
Your submission has been received.Wahlstrom is only two years older. Since going to Providence, Wahlstrom has scored SEVEN goals and 11 pts in 16 games. Wahlstrom has a chance to score as many goals in Providence in 20 games as Lysell did in 51 games. And I submit to you that Lysell is playing worse in Boston that Wahlstrom did on many a night.
But hey.
