I love it!Jesus christ what a horrible contract. Wow.
I mean, I don't think that's a smart contract, but I love that a divisional rival signed it.

You really have to respect Don Waddell's work. They're never caught giving guys in their 30's 5+ years in deals that will probably look bad.Jesus christ what a horrible contract. Wow.
But I thought we were super cheap?!You really have to respect Don Waddell's work. They're never caught giving guys in their 30's 5+ years in deals that will probably look bad.
I think this is why some of us weren't as nervous when TDA, Nino, Tro were all going to walk. Donny always seems to have a plan.
Seems like a Flyers move to me, now that they’re not getting Gaudreau.I'm curious where Kadri ends up
Yeah I like the way we go about building the roster. We're consistently able to find guys who fit here and produce for acquisition costs that are less than what the guys are really worth. Sure some guys will have to be let go but we'll never be saddled with a horrible anchor contract. Gardiner's may be the worst we see and even his hasn't been all that bad frankly. You really have to respect Don Waddell's work. Yep. If we can swing that, maybe throwing in a Suzuki and a pick or 2..... Its temptingI do not want to trade Marty but Laine is one of the few players I would consider it for.
Per comments on The Point he is firm on wanting to go to a true contender.Seems like a Flyers move to me, now that they’re not getting Gaudreau.
Yeah but he's still an elite offensive RHD and PP QB, our biggest need, and that's a reasonable AAV for that type of player. The age is a bit of a risk but I don't think it'll turn out poorly. We just trade for 35+era making 5+ million AAV
Well njd isn't that. And the islanders are arguable. Us howeverPer comments on The Point he is firm on wanting to go to a true contender.
How would a buyout work in say 1-2 years if he plummets in play?Yeah but he's still an elite offensive RHD and PP QB, our biggest need, and that's a reasonable AAV for that type of player. The age is a bit of a risk but I don't think it'll turn out poorly.

Good question and one I would think the Borg absolutely took into account. I'm not sureH

Over 35 buyouts, I believe are essentially a waste. Some cap savings but not really worth it.H
