Indy car is good, but the field gets bunched up to often due to yellow flags, F1 is the epitome of the sport, and has the better drivers overall.
I’ve attended all 3, multiple times, and choose F1 series.
SAFER barriers were developed by Indycar/ IMS and were installed at IMS before becoming ubiquitous at US based ovals

Indycar is a superior product to F1- the only way one would say otherwise is that you cling to the false sense of prestige F1 fandom affords
Indycar is a more pure and exhilarating racing spectacle.
I’d put Josef Newgarden, Palou, Dixon, Will Power, up against the best F1 has to offer.
Don’t forget, Alonso - arguably the greatest F1 talent of the past 20 years not named Verstappen was bumped out of the 2019 Indy 500
