Having a good start in Milwaukee since returning from injury. Hoping he can climb back to the big stage. Always had high hopes for this kid.

Geeze I forgot about him.. If I recall correctly he was on fire a few years ago at Preds training camp... At the time I was thinking he would become a stud very quickly

I think he’ll be an NHL player. He was alright in his stint at the end of last season with the Preds and has had some good training camps in the past. He seems to have the strength and the tools. He just didn’t do anything offensively last season, so I think the organization is leveraging his last year of waiver exemption to see if he can build on a strong AHL playoff and have a breakout offensive season.

He could play a generic 4th line role in the NHL today, but he’ll be worth more to the Preds if he can figure out how to bring a few goals.

Looks terrific this year. Huge part of Milwaukee, an independently owned team without a lot of high quality veterans, who is running roughshed over the central division.

Last year of waiver exempt status. I think Nashville should make sure he has a role and doesn’t go to the KHL.

I wonder if this was a decision based after the trade to SJS. He seemed very happy with Preds system and was working his way up. I felt he made strides every year in development while at Milwaukee and got had good production to show for it.

I'll admit that I don't know very much about this player but this is the Russian factor that scares some teams as a player can bolt for money in the KHL and there is some risk after elite prospects in choosing russian players in general but of course it doesn't apply to all players, it's just that NHL GM's don't have a clear indication of which ones this will apply to.

Nashville traded him because he wouldn’t sign without guaranteed NHL time. SJ had nothing to do with it.

Nothing to do with the Sharks other than them not guaranteeing him a roster spot that he was looking for.
