Really surprised he couldn’t get into the bottom 6 of an NHL roster.
Is the KHL going to be better for his game development than the AHL? I'm not very familiar with KHL.22 points in 60 games in the AHL? Yeah, it's a real surprise NHL teams don't care about him...

I’ve actually watched him play. He’s a good player and better than that but injuries really screwed him up. Also, he’s a bottom 6 guy not a scorer.22 points in 60 games in the AHL? Yeah, it's a real surprise NHL teams don't care about him...

I see. So this is just his best oppurtunity right now. Is the KHL better than the AHL overall?Development? I mean as far as I remeber he's 26. A little bit too old for a prospect.

Penny-pinching or not, reportedly Barys are paying him 400k $ per season.Considering he is moving to Barys, who are KHL's penny-pinching bottom dwellers at this point, the interest from Europe wasn't too impressive either, so any talks about the NHL relevance are crazy.
Not entirely impossible but absolutely stupid if true.Penny-pinching or not, reportedly Barys are paying him 400k $ per season.
