Slovakian forward that's playing in his first season in North America. His stats suggest he is mainly a goal scorer. Does this kid have a promising future?

He has some future. But one dimensional players are always in difficult territory.

Will play for Slovakia’s Hlinka team this year. This could is a very interesting player. The skill is dynamic and has the size too. He's got some flare to this game.

Impressive...he's an October '08 so while not quite a double-underager I would think he would be one of the younger players at the tournament. Definitely somebody to watch for future NCAA commitment as well, it would seem.

EP had him playing another year of prep next season which I think would be hugely disappointing. That may just be their default setting right now though because he’s a late ‘08 from an American class standpoint.

Chicago took him decently high in the USHL draft and Kazda clearly seems ready with his size and experience, for the next step. Seems like a terrific situation for him - the Steel know how to develop stars.

After that he can follow the tried and true path to the University of Michigan and then a 1st round selection…😁

Is this good? Also how far is he from getting USHL games? I am unfamiliar with the levels of hockey in the US. Does he go from U16 to USHL ?
I would assume he's going to play for the Steel next year, where he'll likely play for his D-1, and D seasons. I think it was a fine performance from Kazda, I was probably hoping for a little more production, but he was still amongst the top scorers, so it's hard to be too critical. The Fall Classic is one of the premiere tournaments for this age group in the US, and is a essentially top level competition for the area.

41 points in 20 games, has 23 goals. His goals alone would put him top 5 on his team in points. But what is the next step of progression level wise? USHL or U18 AAA. It doesn’t seem like playing the rest of the season at U16 AAA would help him develop.
