F Tanner Howe - Regina Pats, WHL (2024 Draft)

My opinion / take

Howe > Yager > Bedard

Howe in his first 10 games this season : 1 assist, 3 shots on goal, 0.10 ppg

Howe in the next 20 games, 16 goals, 16 assists, 49 shots on goal, 1.60 ppg

He went 73rd overall!..... he was Pats 4th player who they picked.
I would personally go: Howe>McDavid>Crosby>Yager>Bedard

I have season tickets to the Pats, there's no way that Howe > Yager > Bedard. Bedard is very clearly the best of the 3. I haven't seen that much of Yager, but he has been noticeable in a positive way in the games Moose Jaw has played Regina. Howe and Bedard are developing some great chemistry, and should be a force again next year.
The one thing Howe definitely has on Bedard right now is the one-timer but I'm sure they are fine with Bedard sending Howe cross-seam darts for bombs:

I do really like Howe's game - he doesn't have the wow factor in the dub yet but he's shifty, has a good shot and makes a lot of smart subtle plays. When they pair up Howe and Bedard on a line it is clear that Bedard respects his game as he has way less of a shooters mentality and seems to always be looking for Howe:

They are going to put up some numbers if they are on a line together next year.

First 11 games 1+0
Next 34 games 21 goals, 27 assists.

From October 30th 2021 -> March 2nd 2022
1.41 ppg. (68 game full season, 95 point pace)

95 point pace for the most of the season, in his D-2 season, in the WHL.

----------

Funny shit, he is still CHL eligible player until 2026-27 season......LOL

On a crappy team, too.
