This came up on my YouTube feed, anyone know if he's tearing up the league's there and has a real shot or just a cute YT Video?
How about let the kid fall in love with the game and see what happens from there?Father is very smart in developing him so young. He mentions the first window in develooping type 2 muscle fibers and studies show that the younger an athlete is the more a window exists to increase that ratio. A favorable type 2 fiber ratio is what leads to great athletes. Neural plasticity is the mechanism in which it is theorized that this ratio can be changed. Very cutting edge stuff.

Kid clearly doesn’t see it as some onerous task, either. I like what the dad’s doing, and I’ll only be opposed to it if the kid ever comes out and says “I don’t want to do this anymore” and he then interferes.Pretty sick skater. Good on his dad for pushing him, if he makes the nhl his life is set.

Oliver Wahlstrom was a child youtube prodigy. Ya never know.
Also, I vote that this thread be renamed:
Roman Marcotte - *whatever team he plays for* (2028 eligible)
and make it official!
Lol....the scientific evidence is clear and overwhelming. Treating 8yrolds like pros is absolutely wrong appproach if long term development is the goal . Now if you want to see how good your kid can be at 8 then yeah...knock yourself out![]()
