7 goals + 7 assists for 14 pts and a -1 in 46 games

Though not eye popping his stat line is impressive enough given he is 2nd youngest player on his team

Not surprised he will be in KHL for at least a few more years as that was considered likely and isn't unusual from many Russian prospects.

Two nice primary assists today in the series clinching game for Kantserov. What really impressed me today, aside from the assists, was his play on the PK - his quickness is a weapon.

Four rising stars going head to head in the Finals - Kantserov (CHI) and Yurov (MIN) for Magnitka and Simashev (AZ) and But (AZ) for Locomotiv. Looking forward to it.

And Grebyonkin for MM.

Kantserov and Moore is a good base for an effective 3rd line especially behind Bedard and nazar lines in the future. Hawks could get that physical winger with their later pick in the first to project on that 3rd line

don't sleep on Ryan Greene either. Hawks rebuild is going well so far.

Bringing this back to the Kantserov conversation - Kantserov's team won 2-1 in OT today to take a 3-0 lead in the KHL Finals. Kantserov had a beauty assist on the first goal. He crossed over the blueline and feathered a leading pass to Zernov that put him in on the goalie. The goalie made the save on Zernov's shot but Silantyev popped in the rebound. Kantserov got the secondary assist but the goal doesn't happen without Kantserov's play.

Aside from the assist - Kantserov played his usual high energy "dog on puck" play all over the ice. He used his speed to make a couple nice backcheck takeaways. Just a very nice game.
