This kid has the most goals of any 2008-born in the OHL (playing on a bad offensive team)...also had 3 points in 4 games in the WHC-17, any thoughts on his game? Not big but surely must be somebody to keep an eye on for the 2026 draft - very strong rookie year

He's been on an absolute heater lately (16 points in the last 10). He plays the game with a ton of speed, loves to get involved in scrums and be physical, and has a pretty good one-timer that's been unleashed on the powerplay since Sam McCue was traded away to Flint. If you get the chance to see him live or even watch his games, especially now that he's getting 1st line 5 on 5, and 1st unit powerplay time, he's the definition of a fun player.

He just reached the 20 goal mark Friday night, and amongst all Owen Sound 16 year olds to do that, 4/5 were NHL first round picks (Colby Barlow, Bobby Ryan, Nick Suzuki, Joey Hishon). He is very small, but it's clear he has plenty of growing still to do as he's 5'10 and very, very skinny. I think his draft position, and his ultimate NHL upside, is dependent on how much he's able to fill out, because his actual skill level and toolset suggests he could be a Top 6 NHL forward.

2 hat tricks as a 16 year old in 2025 (so far) on a weak offensive team in Owen sound- one of the worst in the CHL.

Led OHL Cup in points last year too. May win rookie of the year in the O’

Kids very talented.
