If I had to guess, most likely ends up as a middle-6 winger. Maybe gets some time on PP2. Unique style of player.

Was expecting more production in the AHL this year to be honest, but he’s still only 21.

Kind of reminds me of Tyler Bertuzzi. Bigger fella, not exactly a powerforward but plays in those areas and gets engaged physically, very chaotic game but somehow makes it work, absolutely clueless defensively.

Who he can't beat as a LW? Tippett? I'm pretty sure they should trade Tip because he isn't worth $6.2M/year. Maybe some other teams will love him. Or they can trade TK for a young top6 center.

You’re insane. 6.2M for one of the fastest players in the league, is big, and who can score some crazy goals is definitely fair value.

His skating will be what holds him back if anything. He has a choppy first couple strides. Not slow once he gets a head of steam going but a bit clunky getting moving.
