I personally think not but i have not seen as much artamonov as i have gallagher. I think arty has a bit more dynamic skating/feet and more IQ. I dont know if arty can grind in front of the net as well as brendan could before
Artturi Lehkonen maybe? That’s who he reminded me last season watching Torpedo.

Funny that you mentioned Lekhy that exactly who he remind me of. Arty have a better IQ in my book than Lekhy. Maybe his shot is less powerful but more accurate than Lekhy thought

He’s like a mixe between Leky and Guentzel, that my two cent

Yeah, it would be better if he didn't produce much, then we'd surely know he is not Tolvanen. :sarcasm:
Well of course, again, the production is great. But i feel its not necessarily always translating khl-nhl. the tools and how you produce will be more important. I have not watched him enough to know but i do hope he does well as i drafted him 26th overall in the last draft

It can be said about any league and actually about any prospect, even about translating NHL-to-NHL - Yakupov was quite productive in the NHL initially, but then it didn't translate to the further success. So what I meant that this kind of logic is pretty much forbidding most of the excitement for any prospect.

The kid has a knack for finding open space on the ice and has a very quick release. I believe that will translate well in the NHL.

3rd best prospect in the KHL currently, Canes got a steal

1. Silayev
2. Nikishin
3. Artamanov
4. Zavragin
5. Demidov

Demidov is far more talented. But Artamonov is probably better than anyone else. Yurov is there too.

I don't trust in Russian Defensmen the likes of Silayev & Simashev at all.

had a very strong start to the season, since then... very low ice time and production. Anyone who sees him can comment ^ thanks

He was bound to regress with his points, ice time really hasn't changed that much. Got injured today.

Where does Kantserov fit on this list?
probably in the top 5-10 Russian prospect. I don’t like to put goaltender in list because it’s hard to evaluate.

1. Nikishin
2. Demidov
3. Artamonov
4. Silayev
5. Butt
6. Kantserov
7. Bulchelnikov

I tend to rank higher Butt because of his projection. kantserov & bulchelnikov are on the smaller side aswell

Who is Butt? He has the same surname as a russian pilitician Viktor Bout. Yet, here we have Butt.
