I just read back through the last page of comments, mostly from December until it was re-activated by the news of his ELC signing today.

SHEESH! All the usual Debbie Downer opinions buttressed with bluster to sound emphatically empirical.

I'll just add some actual empirical data - he has a July birthday so he played the 2023/24 season almost a year younger than many of his fellow 2023 draftees. How much of a factor is that - hard to quantify but it is a fact.
Fans will be fans

Wait, what??? Is this common for prospects to do this and not play for the team at the end of the season or does he just know Brandtford is going to lose in the first series?
It’s just a elc. A atta boy for him, not uncommon at all. He will finish the year with his team. Maybe he signs a ATO with Rockford to practice with the team for the playoffs. He also might just be left to rest up. Next year he’ll attend camp with the hawks, play some pre-season and get send back to his Ohl team and his contract will slide for another year.

What kind of player does he project in the future ?

If I squint, I can see Patrick Sharp in there. He can skate, shoot, and has some hands. Highlights only show goals and stuff so I have no idea if he has any of Sharp's defensive skills. I think a lot of it is going to depend on how strong he gets as he looked really slight out there in the prospect showcase.
