Maybe I don’t. I still believed Sully could be effective with Rierden gone, and it’s only gotten worse over 10% of the way through the season.

Hey, as soon as the Pens won the second Cup with Crosby and Malkin, everything else was gravy to me. Then they won the back to back. At this point, I’m content to see Sid and Malkin build their cumulative point totals and see what happens after that. I’ll start feeling more passionate about wins and losses then.

Seriously. It would be one thing if we were losing but Sid and Geno were able to fly out there and rack up points (well Geno is so far, but that's more about Geno's level of play than anything Sullivan is doing), but not only are we losing but the team looks boring as shit and the offense sucks yet again.
Remember when some folks were excited about our offense when we put up 6 goals against three bad defensive teams (and got skunked by the 3 good teams)? Yeah, fun times.
What’s more exciting than watching EK and Letang give up 2 on 0’s and 3 on 0’s? That’s exciting hockey.

Well to be fair he spent time on Carolina's 3rd and 4th line as well and THEY'RE really good!

I don't know if they have 40g and 80p total in the bottom-9 if they roll with a Geno-Sid-Rakell top line.

I remember they basically told him to coach the team differently and use matchups, which he did for the first few games then just stopped.

I mean Sid is our worse 5v5 center production wise this year. Maybe we should try him at the wing.

You know you really gotta think at this point that Crosby is the big problem with the powerplay.
I figure now is a good time to try out split units and put him on PP2 to mitigate the issue until Crosby can learn to play the game the right way. Besides... he'll.... uhhhhhh... totally get an equal amount of time to the top unit. Totally.
