As far as I know he is no longer college eligible as he played in the Slovak Extraliga. However I am not sure cause Artyom Duda played in the KHL and is going to college. Ncaa would be a good route if he could but I’m guessing he will either play in the CHL or play another year back in Slovakia in an elevated role like Adam Sykora. Unless he can make the Hawks AHL team

Yeah but did he play in Extraliga under a senior men’s contract or did he just get games as a junior?

Plenty of prospects get senior league games abroad before heading to the NCAA, they just don’t have professional contracts yet.

Personally, I am also happy for this boy. Today he is considered more like a bottom 6 player, but he still has offensive potential, I wonder if he will be able to develop it. But even if he doesn't, Chicago gained a very competetive two-way player.

He'll be playing with Terrance and/or Spence. Yeah the team will be like in the 6-8 range for the conference but he's not going to be dragging 4th liners with him. The team isn't great but HE'LL be fine.

Massive strides this year compared to last. Didn't think he stood out all last playoffs and has just gradually gotten better throughout the year.

It will be interesting to see how effective he looks in round 2 against much better competition
