1+1 in game 4 and his team suffers a dramatic loss in SO 5-6
and this ends their play-offs at the hands of Edge School and Landon DuPont

4 goals, 12 points in 4 games (3.00 ppg)

Back to the WHL? with his twin bro
would be huge for the Tigers

I'm sure they're on their way to Med Hat. Only downside is WHL teams can only play one 15-year-old at a time, so they won't be able to play in a WHL game together until next season.

I have no idea, but both are 16, i think that should count too

Unfortunately we won't see them in the lineup together until next season. You can only have 1 2008 born in your lineup... Regular Season or Playoffs. Eligibility is based on birth year rather than age at time of call up.

Point #5 prevents the twins from playing together. As for how HC defines what constitutes a 15yr old I can't find in here which is what you are asking for. As far as I know, no team has played 2 freshly drafted players in their lineup at the same time save for a team with an exceptional status player + 1 AP.

I understand this as for 15 year olds, i cant find any parts where is mentioned their birth year
or if a player has started his season as an 15 year old , but turns 16 can't play.

I'm not sure how many more times this one can be explained to you. The actual age of the player does not matter for these sorts of rules; the only consideration is birth year. A "15 year old" this hockey season is a player born in 2008. It makes no difference if they actually turn 16 during the season.

A 15 year old like Verhoeff can play more than 5 games if the team recalls them on an emergency basis (e.g., injuries) or after their Midget season has ended. This is how Kirby Dach played 19 games at 15, for example. Winnipeg intentionally played with a short roster so they could continuously call up Savoie on an "emergency" basis at 15. The same with Gavin McKenna last season.

Also, how has 15 year old D-man Verhoeff played 10 games in the WHL this season?
Sometimes teams are given exemptions to play their 15-year-old affiliates more than 5 games in a season. Generally it's due to injury troubles and the lack of other available AP's. Victoria had a ton of injuries in the 2nd half, so Verhoeff was given an exemption to play more.

Also another note, the Tri-City Americans recently had 2008-born defenseman David Byrne up for three games as an AP. Normally a 15-year-old AP can play 5 games, but because Byrne wasn't signed by the Americans until just before he was called up, and therefor not one of the team's official AP's, he's limited to three games instead of five.

I think these Ruck brothers are completely overrated.

Have watched them now at two international tournaments for Canada, and they were overplayed. Great situations and line mates and all that and do very little with it. They have chemistry playing off of one another, but they look like future late round picks at best.

They aren't off to good starts either in the WHL (good team with a lot of depth, but even then they are getting outplayed by others their age on their own team).

Hype machine because they are somewhat notable hockey players that happen to be twins.

Would you say their chemistry playing off of one another is noteworthy, or not out of the ordinary compared to what we see with typical linemates?

It looks good. You definitely see how they move off of each other when one of them has the puck. They know where the other will be. But I mean, it’s not like something you won’t see with some linemates that have good chemistry. It can’t carry them to the NHL.

People (including myself) looked for shades of the Sedins with these two…and they’re just not that. Truth be told, I’ve yet to see any display of remarkable chemistry this year.
