6'0", R shot forward.

The JPHL doesn't have a long league history, but Liam set the league record for points per game, and total points, in both his 12 and 13 year old (ongoing) seasons for PPG in the U15 league. He's currently just under 3 points per game (36-23-59 in 20GP), with the next closest player in the league at 2 points per game (23-13-36 in 18GP).

How does he compare to Maddox Schultz? I haven't seen him play, but his JPHL U15 stats, as one of the youngest players in the league, are far and away better than some of the top 2010 kids in the CSSHL U15 when they played in the same league last year. Seems like he even dominates against the 2008s in the JPHL U17.

Pue has arrived. Any Americans who didn't know him before, knows him now. Amazing talent. BC is pumping out some serious players.

Not really sure what the level of competition is like in that JPHL. Surprised some CSSHL academy didn't want to scoop him up by offering his family a sweet deal.

My kid plays JPHL and this kid is the real deal. 14 year old playing in U18 division and more than holding his own. The reason why he hasn't moved to a CSSHL academy is because his dad is the owner and GM of the Langley HA hub for the JPHL.

I wonder where he plays lays next year as he might be too good to repeat the U18 again?

With Maddox Schultz not applying for exceptional, does that give pue a chance at it? Did he apply? I think the 34 games doesn’t apply to him in the jphl

Very unlikely Pue applied if Schultz did not, considering Schultz would have got it over Pue. Schultz had the advantage of having already gone through an exceptional application for U18 hockey, which involves SaskHockey, who said they would have backed Schultz if he wanted to apply for CHL exceptional status. With Pue, his family owns the team he is on, and I think it makes sense that he would just play most of next season in the JPHL again. He'll be able to play 9 games in the WHL. I'm not convinced he'll be ready for the WHL next year, anyways. Regardless, he's going to be one of the top picks in the upcoming WHL draft, which is looking extremely strong.

The JPHL U18 finals are over today, with Pue's team losing 2-1, to lose their BO3 final series 2-0. Pue ended the regular season with 30-20-50 in 29 games, 1.72ppg, which was second in the league in points, first in goals, and fourth in ppg. He ended the playoffs with 10-2-12 in 6 games, 2ppg. This was first in points, first in goals (next closest had half as many, 5), and first in ppg. He's now listed as 6'2". He will be a top pick in the upcoming 2025 WHL draft.

Schultz #1 in WHL draft. Would’ve been exceptional status but for once the family decided against it.

Edmonton went a little off board with #2 pick with Cruz Jim and Liam Pue there and picked Holden Wouters but he’s still good.

Was then gonna be Kelowna who is hosting next mem cup #3 overall but they traded pick to Regina so Regina got the 1 and 3 pick

Picked Liam Pue #3, and he would’ve been #1 lots of other years. He actually applied for exceptional status but Schultz is better and didn’t want it so Pue didn’t get it

WHL trades are nuts

Him and Maddox Schultz on the same team is absolutely insane. Possibly the #1 and #2 2010s in the world. Anyone know if Pue gets to play 34 games next year as well? Not sure if JPHL is included.

He can and will. Schultz, Pue and I believe there was 1 more guy they mentioned that could play the 34. Believe it was Nicol.

I cannot believe that Regina managed to also get Pue, holy moly. I honestly am not sure I've ever seen a comparable situation, where two of the best prospects for a given birth year are going to play all their junior hockey together. They are going to push each other, and zoom each others numbers. Wow, going to be awesome to watch. Congrats to Regina.

Savoie and Geekie to the Ice. PA could've with Rudolph and Preston/Verhoeff but Preston wouldn't report and they didn't want to double up on dmen(they shouldve)
