F Joseph Salandra - Brunswick School, USHS Prep (2026 Draft)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Joseph's main strengths are his shot, and his ability to find soft areas in the offensive zone, however, he is a two-way forward, who gives strong defensive efforts.

He recently lead the 2024 USA Hockey Boys 16U Player Development Camp in scoring, with 8-5-13 in 6 GP. While not a tournament, this is a camp with the best 16U players in all of the USA, so it's high-end competition.

He's kind of a little small (5'9) and his game doesn't absolutely excite you with raw upside, but he's a good winger outside of that. If he can grow a little over the next few years, he'll give himself a good chance to be drafted. Chicago draft pick in the USHL, and he's exactly their type. Could get some games for them this year in the USHL.

Ended his USHS-Prep season with 38-34-72 in 35GP, good for 2.06PPG. It will be interesting to see where he chooses to play his draft season.
I noticed his linemate at the high end camp,Trevor Theuer played with Saginaw this year but he was drafted by them and Salandra has only been drafted in the USHL, how do the 2 guys compare?

Asking as I don't know anything about either guy.
