In what way?
The way he skates and makes plays while also being able to drive and bring lines with him from the offensive and defensive zone. But not just that Larkin also has that ability better than 99.9 percent of the players in the league to keep their head up while not looking down at the puck.

But currently, that's who I compare him to.

Obligatory post of a Hagens goal in his thread because his scoring has been such a topic of conversation.

Dammit I thought there was no picture and your were mocking the lack of goals then on res=fresh the clip came in boooooo.

Believe it or not, I'm not manufacturing reasons to neg a kid who has been doing all of the right things and simply hadn't had puck luck in a small sample size ;)

No worries I'm not either I just liked your cleverness until it was revealed as not being so but through no fault of your own.

Three assists against Finland and obviously no one cares. Not the new shiny toy anymore.
I expect a huge performance from Hagens in this tournament. He has played with 4 forwards on this team before. He has a big advantage in the chemistry department. I don’t personally think this tournament should change people’s minds all too much regardless of how he plays.

This tournament will be great for guys like Hagens, Schaefer and potentially Victor Eklund on Sweden. They’ll all get lots of playing time and powerplay time I imagine.

A guy like martone may end up similar to Adam Fantilli when he was here the same year as Bedard. Alright tournament but way overshadowed.

Don’t think martone gets a ton of minutes therefore resulting in minimal points. Schaefer should get top 4 minutes and be the pp quarterback. Hagens will get top 6 minutes on potentially the best team in the tournament and play with some of the best forwards in Leonard and Perrault.

As I said on another thread- I predict after this tournament it’s a 2 man race for 1OA, d man and forward, Canadian and american.

Schaefer and Hagens.

Personally, I still have Misa ahead of Hagens and Martone. I can’t believe he wasn’t invited.
