Kane vs toews, I suppose. It's a debatable projection.
Sure, absolutely no shade to Demidov who absolutely has 100+ point potential and may well score more than Celebrini over their careers. But I think if we’re talking about who is going to impact a game more overall, it’s always going to be the 85 point two-way matchup center over the 100 point winger.

I’ll add “in my opinion” so people don’t jump down my throat about it, but I don’t personally think it’s all that arguable.

Jokes on habs fans who really thought we could scoop this guy
I guess. I mean, how long have we been waiting for a true potential star forward? I won't lie, it's frustrating that the Hawks will have had Toews, Kane, Hossa, Panarin, Bedard and now Demidov over the last 15 years, all of whom are more gifted offensively than any player we have. Our best forward (Suzuki) is probably equivalent to Patrick Sharp, which is not a slight against either player. I love suzuki, but we need considerably more power on offense and although Demidov was probably always a pipe dream, it feels like we were so close.
