B. Michkov is not the best Russian prospect ever. Most generally have thought that he's probably the best since Ovechkin and Malkin.

C. Demidov is allowed to have a better statistical season (even then it's debatable, as you've seen the arguments in this thread devolve from). Sometimes MacKinnon or Draisaitl or Matthews will have a better season than McDavid. Multiple players are allowed to be good at once. Best prospect doesn't have to equal better D+1 season, if it's even granted that Demidov has had the better D+1 (not sure everyone has agreed there, but it's a fair statement to suggest he might've).

The insistence to tear down Michkov is so unneeded. You don't see anyone tearing down Demidov. More than anything, it gives Habs fans a bad rep due to the actions of a few.

Just go back to posts running from July to September and you'll see plenty of proofs.

that's why I started my youtube ch, so fans can watch for themselves, the good and the bad. I try to keep the length of the vids down since it's the biggest complaint I get (I have over 1300 vids). Everyone sees things differently so fans can judge for themselves if they bother to watch the games. I have every single Demidov game from this season, I have every MHL playoff game from last season and I have a bunch of MHL games from the regular season last year.

No one insulted @montreal. He has a good reputation, and it’s deserved. But obviously he’s not a super expert on everything. I think it’s a sound point that someone who focuses on Russian players has a better overview of everyone, which isn’t to say @montreal isn’t allowed an opinion and doesn’t have an informed opinion on the matter.

Nothing wrong with all of them being good. You don't have to get extra boisterous and denigrate Michkov to praise Demidov.

I don't think Demidov would approve of it either. I think he probably wants his good friend to be successful.

They aren't even picked by the same team and they aren't from the same draft. There's no reason to pump one up to deflate the other, yet you (and some others) persist in constantly trying to compare Demidov to Michkov. It's sad.
