Fantilli has 65% offensive zone starts and is a plus 1 with 91% of his points at even strength. He also has 88 hits and he's starting to kill penalties. He's been a #1 center since January, 26 points in 25 games.

Which one is the rookie playing for John Tortorella on a Bottom 5 team in the NHL and 2nd worst Powerplay in the NHL again?

I think it's painfully obviously they don't give two squirts of piss about what's good for him, but that's beside the point. If he can help those teams win, they'll do it. And to be frank, why wouldn't they? He's contracted to them, he gets paid by them, so they'll use him. If he were contracted to Montreal with the intention of returning to the KHL next year and the team wanted him to go to Laval to help with their playoff push, would you find that objectionable?

I stand to be corrected, but I don't think he would be eligible to play in the finals, even if everything else went according to plan.

Still SKA lost another 2 games in a row, and Rotenberg usually doesn't know what he's going to do next day let alone coming playoffs so I wouldn't say right now that Demidov is out of the run.

I doubt Rotenberg cares. He’s a super-wealthy, British-educated, Russian oligarch who coaches a hockey team for work. Life’s good.
