Why do we want to get EVEN YOUNGER??
I mean, you don't even know what we are getting for JJ. In a vacuum, if we are trying to find a spot for Rosen, who looks more defensively responsible than Peterka, that would be my natural spot. Peterka has all the talent in the world but I just see him time after time shying from contact, not going to the net and he doesn't seem to fit on the powerplay. If I can get something very nice from a team who wants a trigger man, I'm listening.

I feel like if he has another off season like he did the year before focusing mainly on driving to the inside and an off ice regiment for hockey strength he'll have more confidence getting to the greasy areas right now playing in the top 6 he probably feels a little physically overwhelmed which is understandable as he is still young with a slight build that will gradually become more dense and conditioned reminds me of myself being a hard gainer which isn't easy to deal with in a 82 game season

I wonder how/if he might fit with his buddy Kulich next season on that L3 ?, although ultimately you may want a experienced winger like Zucker there if whomever the gm is can add a T6.

Why not waive Lafferty and bring up Rosen? Put him on the 3rd line with Kulich and Benson. Move Krebs down to 4th with Malenstyn and McCleod. Rosen only has 1 game played and has up to 10 correct? So give him a few games and take it from there. If it doesn’t work, send him back down and bring Kosak back up. Hammer away.

Lafferty for a 4th would work if we are gonna just waive him he still brings a good bottom six presence just isn't fitting right now as we have plethora of bottom six players and our only legit top 9 option is zucker Quinn as well but he is struggling we need to upgrade these players somehow

I agree. I am saying currently and barring a trade. I would like to see what Rosen plays like and what his potential is in a 3 game sample or so. He is familiar with Kulich and could potentially play well with him and Benson. That’s not a knock on Krebs.

Because we need to add 2C and Peterka could also be a better trading asset for that. We need to make place in the top 6 for 2C.
Deku would never give up on a team mate who dreams of being a hero. JJP is Shoto Benson is Bakugo. How could you break them up? Does anyone want to kill me yet?

26 pts in 28 games in Roch. Still scoring without his BFF Kulich

Is there a spot in Buff on L3 for him ? Would he struggle with no PP time ?

Will his size hold up in the big league ?

Is he a trade piece ?
It feels like so far his game has not translated to the NHL level so far but the sample size is very small. Not sure what his trade value is but I would offer Rosen up for help now.

I want him up for 15 or so. See how he does. Right now people might think hrs sd budt from a trade value.

If they trade someone at deadline he comes up

Because then the owner would need to pay someone $2 million to play in Rochester, which we know he loathes.

It's not for nothing that he's just 21.
Thats why I said small sample size but he will be 22 in 3 months. His short time in Buffalo he has been invisible and whats weird is last year he stayed up over Kulich because his game is suppose to be more NHL compatible than Kulich. If I remember correctly its why Rosen stayed up and Kulich was sent down last year.

I am not saying he is a bust just he isn't ready yet and I think penciling him in as a full-time starter next year is probably not gonna happen some people have done.

At some point this team needs to stop getting younger and trade for NHL players or else we will just become a farm team for everyone else.

Yes but the payroll remains the same for the organization regardless. I would like to see what Rosen’s potential is before Adams uses him as a throw in on a trade and potentially gives him away. Actually I would waive Kubel and keep Lafferty up because of their contacts.
