I heard Bedard get called generational by a loud minority, but it was never a popular narrative, from what I remember. I always saw him as a Patrick Kane level talent, and I think a lot of others did too. In the age of social media, sensationalist takes are much louder because everyone has a platform to say dumb shit, and controversial takes always get the most attention. Also people will bandwagon/meme certain takes simply because they’ve gone viral or gotten a lot of attention. Everyone is after views/clicks, and will say whatever to get more.
Who were the others since 2020?
