I cannot remember for the life of me when. But I swear I’ve seen him do the tween sauce before. I think that’s part of what he does. “The Nazar”

Believe he tried it in his first game back last year. Pass connected but they didn’t score

it was sauce? I gotta see that replay again cause it looked flat to me.
There’s one view from the right side behind the shot that shows it. Didn’t find it on YouTube.

Edit: Difficult to see on any view except slomo…few inches off the ice maybe 10+ ft.

Brindley looks like he's going back. I guess I'm wrong and he goes back now.

Yea I said a few weeks ago there was rumors of him and McGroarty going back. Not official of course but it wouldn't surprise me. Nazar going back I can definitely see.

Does anyone know what the hawks and or Nazar's desire/preferred timeline is for him to be in the NHL on a regular basis?

Asking as I took a cursory look in a few places and did not find anything.

It would not be out of the realm of possibility for Nazar to impress at camp and make this club next year.

Think their shared mutual desire is him on the big club

I don’t think they have one, besides putting him where he shows them he needs to be. We won’t know till September, but maybe a little more insight once free agency starts.

My guess is better than 50/50 he at least starts with the Hawks out of camp and then they make the decision where he would be best served.

For as much as I'm impatient to get the high profile prospects into the lineup to get their "experience clocks" ticking, I'm also intrigued by the thought of what the Rockford lineup could look like with some of those

The Athletic podcast doubling down on Nazar hate. The point they’re making is that Nazar did not outperform Gavin Brindley at Michigan, yet Brindley is a middle 6 prospect and Chicago is projecting Nazar to be much more than that.

So, they feel we’re delusional to expect more from Nazar.

Time will tell. Nazar not being a top player at Michigan has always bothered me. But I still think he’ll be a better pro than college player.

The only reason Brindley would be considered a middle six prospect is the 5’9 bias. The kid’s electric with one of the best snapshots of any prospect in the world

As of right now I do think Brindley has a more projectable offensive game, but Nazar does seem like he has a ceiling that he has yet to hit and offers more in terms of a 200fr game

Unless I'm mistaken, wasn't Nazar not on the top PP unit for Michigan most of the year? You had McGroarty, Brindley, Casey on one unit and Nazar on an island with the second unit. The kid still put up a PpG.

The college production is fair criticism, but I think his ceiling is still much higher.
