Big boy for that young. Is he a center or winger?

Have you seen Lukás Kachlír? He's got almost as good of stats in U17, he's a defenseman and he's a 2009 (September even so young for that year)...seems pretty impressive.

He has settled into the Sparta team very well - now he is the best scorer of his team, and one of the best in the entire league.
Great goal from today's game (2+1).

He performs well at the Youth Olympic Games in South Korea. He scored two goals in today's game against the Americans (one shorthanded) (the Czechs won 6:5), and also made two assists in yesterday's game against the Slovaks.

He can really fire it.. Holy shit. I rarely watch 15 year olds play but his size and shot did not look like a 15 year old.

Liked his game the second most of the Czechia team after Katolicky. Skates very well with puck skills, sense, and playmaking. A young Sale?

In the quarterfinal series of the Extraliga juniorů, Sparta Prague played against Dukla. In these games, two super-talents born in 08, Filip Novak and Simon Katolicky, came face to face. In one of the games in that series, they even both scored a point. Luck then smiled on Filip's team - Sparta won the series and reached the semi-finals. The coaches continue to trust Novak in the current semi-final playoff series - today Filip scored his first goal in the U20 team - boldly entered into pressure, took the puck, received a return pass and took a targeted shot. It’s a pity that Sparta is still losing the series (1:2) to the strong Kometa - I’d like to watch the young talent play longer in the playoffs of the league, where some players are actually born in ’03 (like his teammate, Devils prospect Petr Hauser, for example)!
So, for the 26 draft, the Czechs have three very strong names, all forwards: Adam Novotny, Simon Katolicky and Filip Novak.

Signed his first professional contract with the senior Sparta team. Already two players going to the 26 draft at such a young age signed contracts with the Extraliga team two years before the draft. Previously, Adam Novotný signed a contract with the Hradec Králové team.

How is his season going?
I think the injury really set him back, I expected him to have a full fledged U20 season this year where he would go around ppg, but seems like he didn't stand out that much and It looks like he is back in U17

I hope he can turn this around, next year will be the more important one, he always looked like he can go somewhere 2-3 round maybe even late 1st, but right now idk
