Dronov is looking good so far this season, so he might give it another try next summer, also among the undrafted Ds Sergei Telegin looks interesting, but he is contracted until 2025.
Sorry, one more question. What sort of player would you project telegin to be, like a current nhl comparable?

Dronov is a solid KHLer, but will not amount to much in NHL, most likely AHL and trip home
Telegin is not an Nhl level prospect
Gutik is a classic case of a guy who caught some heat on a bad team. Sometimes happens on decent teams aswell, remember how his current teammate Chebykin had a hot start of the season 2 years ago? Next Butuzov/Byvaltsev at best

All IMO of course.

Kaprizov at that age was a star

So which undrafted khler do you currently think has the talent to be a stud in the nhl?

Or even just a zub like player.

Was looking into Admiral and noticed Gutik's numbers but also a rookie named Prokhov Korbit.

Both players seem similar in size. Is Korbit a prospect as well?

Korbit is a surname, there is no such first name a Korbit.

Good start for him.

It'll be interesting to see how he develops. When his contract is up, he could have quite a line of teams after him.

Has started the KHL season on fire for Admiral - tied for second in points and first in PPG with 1+10 in 7 games. Lowly Admiral have 4 wins in 5 games to start the year and are scoring at will.

Have cooled a bit but still playing around .500 and second in their division. Is that a reflection of the team being improved or based on the strength of competition?

They are doing almost identically to 22/23 season so since the coach, the idea, and even a large part of the roster is the same, I think you can simply look at 23/24 as a down year.

East has 6 clear-cut 2nd echelon teams (and Avangard who completely blundered this year) so even .500 record makes you the best of the rest.
