I've been watching Hawks prospect Roman Kantserov (2023 2nd round - #44) playing for Magnitogorsk and they won today to advance to the Finals against Locomotiv. I'm looking forward to getting my first game action look at But and Simashev. Also two past Hawks draft picks also play for Locomotiv - Artur Kayumov and Maxim Shalunov. Should be exciting.

He will walk into a golden situation in Utah in 2 years. I think he can be a nice 30/35/65 guy in the NHL... kind of like JVR was when he was pretty good.
