I’m not sure, he seems to be falling down lists rather than rising. Really don’t understand why he chose to play Allsvenskan if he’s not getting top 6 minutes. Carlsson is playing top 6 in the SHL.
I wouldn’t fret yet. Slaf was all up and down on lists last year due to lack of production. If Dvorsky is looking great in Allsvenskan in March nobody will care that he started slow and had to ramp up.

It’s also an easier league. Dvorsky could score at a pretty high rate. Carlsson is unlikely to score that many points this season.

No player born in 2005 made his place in Senior. Very few have played it.

It's not a disaster. The season is new. The most important thing is progress.

The U20 league is about the same level as a CHL league. There is all the Swedish potential (which produces as many prospects as WHL or OHL) and foreigners as Dvorsky in addition.

He’s not going to make progress playing bottom 6 in Allsvenskan (or playing at all?). I already noted earlier that he should have committed to playing in one of the CHL leagues. Get adapted to NA ice quicker and play all situations as the 1C. Or even play prominent role for Banská Bystrica but that option is probably gone.

I saw his game tonight and although probably he was the best player on the ice I have mixed feelings.

When the puck is on his stick he´s excellent and has all the skill. Perfect stickhandling, vision, shot, creativity, hockey sense. In this game he created a lot of scoring chances, he could easily have 5 assists or so. Had only 1 assist.

On the other side he´s far from being a complete player. There´s a lack of speed in his game and his legs aren´t moving, in D-zone he´s passive or poor defensively. And also he´s not a effective forechecker. Those are aspects of the game which hold him back in men´s hockey where the speed of the game is higher and for which the coach probably doesn't trust him that much.

I think he ends up in a Brad lambert type situation this year. I think he goes later in the first round (out of the lottery) than where he was projected prior to the draft year. Based on both his WJC performance and USHL play so far I think Maxim Strbak is the best Slovak for the upcoming draft. Has the size and all the tools. Ciernik is a challenger as well but he really looks small on the ice, I doubt his listed height is actually how tall he is.

This is all correct about U20 = CHL.

The difference is it’s hard to imagine players like Bedard, Michkov, Fantilli, Carlsson, and maybe Yager not being able to stick in Allsvenskan. Dvorsky might drop from the top 5 to the 6-10 range on most lists because of that.

Drafted 2022, 2 #68 overall by Sudbury Wolves in the CHL Import Draft

Is there any chance? If he will not play senior league.

If he starts to make difficulties, yeah sure. Otherwise he's under contract. And I think having the opportunity to play in a top 7 senior league in the world is more appealing than playing against kids.

Every point matters for AIK. I think he'll play once they feel confident in his defensive effort.

Östlund was dominant in preseason, he's got one assist in four games for Djurgården. Hockeyallsvenskan is hard.

Who cares if he gets drafted #5, #15 or #30. The bottom line is he needs to learn to play defense and work harder. I somehow fail to see how is CHL a better place to do that than AIK.

If anything, we see top prospects being cut slack in the CHL time and time again just because they are so much better than the other option. And Wright/this year's draft was the best example.

I would actually love to see him in Sudbury...they have done alot to rebuild their program the last few years.

Still one of my favourites for next years draft.

Scored his first Allsvenskan goal of the season today on the PP. Waited with the puck until Gynge was fully in front of the goalie and then sniped it top corner.

His shooting is fantastic. Release, accuracy, wrist shot, one-timer he has it all. As far as I remember, only Bondra, Gaborik had shooting of such quality. I wonder if he does not end up as a winger, but he obviously does not have speed of two mentioned.

Actually, it will be a huge benefit. At the end of the season, you ask whether you see a progress. If he endsup as Alsvenskan regular it will be a positive sign for scouts. Slafkovsky, Sykora are great examples from last year.
