5'11 175 in the measurements to 6'0 191. I think the added size is important for him. His profile is not very palatable as a small winger who probably doesn't stick at center. He gets a little taller and stronger, and has another 10 months before the draft too, and you start considering he might have the size to stick at center and goes from undersized to NHL average size or bigger.

Having an under the radar weak season. PPG is down .27 from last season. He's barely over .5PPG this season (.56). That's not going to remotely get it done as an early round pick.

And I always felt a little like last season that he was never as exciting as his stats indicated. 2nd seemed like the max to me, but if he's not scoring at a high rate as an opportunistic scoring forward, he becomes a player who is 3rd-5th I'd think.

It seems like the early hype (frankly overrating him) has worn off, and now maybe it's too much in the other direction and he's a little underrated. Not having a good year, but I don't think he's that bad. Could see him as a middle six winger in the NHL. Not a sure thing he gets there, but his skating looks a little better to me this season, and he can still have some nice offensive zone shifts and score some points. Not playing for the highest scoring team this year doesn't help, but he's gotten taller, stronger, and a little faster. Don't think that's a bad year for a U18 hockey player if that's all their DY is. Won't be any earlier than late second round, and I think it's possible he drops to the third or even early fourth.
