Your vikendicu must be in a really bad neighborhood if your willing to bet it Idzan being passed over.

I am willing to bet my house and summer cottage nobody will draft him. He simply doesn't have quality for NHL. He will be "mickey-mouse" player at NCAA D1 level and later play in leagues like Erste (HUN/ROM), Oberliga, Optibet, etc...

I mean, that is unrealistic really. Maybe he goes undrafted (but very few +1 overagers in USHL who get 1.2 P/GP or more go undrafted unless tiny)...

But in AlpsHL he was outscoring guys who had been top scorers in DEL2 (and Erste Liga)... in Huard and Livingstone yet he will end up in the German 3rd tier? (Oberliga)...

as for Optibet (Latvia) I mean, that is not a dissimilar level from AlpsHL when consider the transfers between the two.

And he is 18, so of course will get better unless his career is ended by injury.

Hate to be that guy but the track record of your proclamations of this sort is... how do I put this delicately.. terrible.
In my defence, some of my predicitions are still wide open. Sisak still may shrink into bankrupcy - inflation in Croatia is very high and will get higher. U18 and Men's WC's are yet to come.

oh you didn't say that Sisak will "eventually" give up, you said repeatedly it was already done deal mid December:
According to croatian media Sisak announced bankrupcy and will not finish season in Alps league.

It was on local, not mainstream media. Tomorrow at noon will be an official announcment.
and in the meantime other teams gave up and Sisak still applied for next season.

Hot takes aren't bad per se, they happen, but having such a negative view on everything in good in croatian hockey is sad.

I mean, I guess you're trolling, but you as a Croat finally have a guy that looks like a lock future PRO player and you spend your time saying how he's a "fraud"? Is this a message you want to be stored for eternity? That one time Croatia had a PPG player in USHL, you were the guy saying he is a "fraud"?

And mind you, you're not saying he's "playing above expectations" or something, you call him a "fraud".

Everything he achieved this season was his own accomplishment: he was the driver of his line/team in Sisak and I don't see he's feeding of elite players now either. What the future holds, we can only guess.

I wrote fraud because I was under impression what someone wrote on other page that his skating strides are not good.

Idžan 1.5 PPG so it wouldn't be unheard of to take him in 7th round, but I would be surprised.

He has a chance to be one of three best croatian born players (with Borna Rendulić and Mislav Rosandić).

Who can forget Goran Bezina :D I know he grew up and was developed in Switzerland but I remember a young me being so excited actually paying attention to his AHL career and he actually played 2-3 games for the Coyotes, it was pretty exciting to see something related to Croatia in the NHL

As for Idzan I hope he gets drafted, think a team might take a flyer on him in the late rounds, I mean sometimes we see completely silly picks in the 7th round

How heartbreaking...

He still won't get drafted, willing to bet my house on it.
He has the highest point per game average in the USHL

why wouldn’t a team use a 7 th round pick on him while he transfers to college

Do you even know anything about Hockey?

If you don’t care about Croatian Hockey why do you bother coming here and posting?

You offer zero contribution to this thread

Enough to see so many holes and deficiencies in his game which will bring him back to Alps league within two seasons.

There has only been one USHL draft+1 player in the last 20 years to put up 1.3 P/GP or more and not be drafted. Idzan is at 1.5.

Jeremy Wilmer, who is around 5'7...

and who tbh should have been drafted and will probably be signed by an NHL team after college is done.

I’m hearing from a source in Zagreb that medvescak will be sending 6 of their top Bantam Prospects to play in Ontario next season

They are recruiting billetsFamilys to make this happen

Should of happened earlier but it’s a start

Feel free to believe in fairy tales.

such as this one?
It's not my fault, media are not very trustworthy these days.

Idžan scored 1+1 tonight, but it was against by far weakest team - Omaha. Not points that will impress scouts. He will be nowhere near scoresheet tonight against top team like Sioux.

But why are you so obsessed with blowhorn shouting out your negative thoughts about a 19 year old Croatian hockey player who is excelling in North America at the moment?

If you are a Croatian why do you try to manifest a doom epic fail scenario for the best prospect Croatia has ever produced

I am not negative, I am just saying he won't get drafted. Nothing more, he is not worth a pick. He will probably be low level player on some not very good NCAA team. And after that, who knows...there are a lot of leagues that suits his skill level, like Norwegian 1st division, French 2nd, Regionalliga in Germany, Suomi-Saraja...
