I've heard of the kid but still way too early to call anything. Projects as one of the top kids out of Ontario for the 2024 OHL draft at this point in time - if that means anything.

Any updates on Edward's? The Canucks seems to be one of the best 08 teams in the world. Currently ranked 9th best team on one list.

One thing I can update on this kid is in the 2021-22 U14 OHL Cup - he had 7 goals and 1 assist in 4 games - finished 5th in scoring after the tournament and was the highest scoring player that played only 4 games.

Haven’t gotten to see him play yet - but just by looking at his statlines so far in his young career, he looks like a goal scored.

Played his 4th U16 game of the season around a week ago and got a hat trick and an assist.

Probably should have played U16 all season to be honest.

Great pickup. Electric puck game and skating. He's going to be a big addition to the USHL. I thought he was one of the best Ontario players on the Canada YOG team, and that means he probably would've stood a good chance of being a high OHL Draft pick.

To wit - his 5 goals leads all 16 year-old OHL rookies and leads Sarnia. Any impressions from OHL watchers?

I think he's a likely late first/early second rounder for 2026. I didn't like his skating and overall upside as much at the WHC17 as the YOG, but I see a profile like a Brennan Othmann. Has some size, can be a dangerous dual threat scorer, battles hard. I think he plays center for Sarnia, but he played as a winger at the WHC17. Could see a move off center in his future, but he has a chance to stick.
