F Andrew Cristall - Spokane Chiefs, WHL (2023, 40th, WSH)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Remember that Cristall almost made Washington out of training camp. Given the caps are maybe the best team in the league, how many other teams would he have made if he were with a different organization?
I am excited to follow Cristall’s development.

But I wouldn’t read too, too much into having a cup of coffee with the Caps. I look at it more as a development strategy: stoke his hunger by indicating he’s on the cusp; soften the blow/monotony of one more junior year, stuff like that.

But he did not look out of place. And he is close. But I still don’t think any team would ice him permanently this year. My opinion is that he still needs to work on his straightaway speed. But he’d look fine on an NHL PP2.

No I think he genuinely was deserving of a roster spot on the Caps. He performed better than Lapierre, Milano, who all made the final roster. It's just that he's easy to send down while cutting the others would have been hard due to contract status.

Hope he gets CFHL player of the year. Although Dickinson and McKenna are deserving as well. Misa leads the CHL in points (110 to Cristall’s 105 - in 8 more games).
It’ll be Misa, McKenna or Cristall for sure. Dickinson and Parekh are good too but they’ll be going for the defenceman of the year award

Q has absolutely nobody to challenge this year but next year the Q will have 19 year old Masse, Poirier, Xavier Villeneuve will be a great 18 year old draft guy, Maddox Dagenais will be 17 in his draft year and probably take a huge leap that’s the ones I’d look at next year.

Same amount of points as Misa with 7 fewer games.

Race for the CHL scoring title on the line. Misa has 3 more games remaining- Cristall 2.

Cristall will end up right around what Misa gets for points but Misa will end up playing 8 more games. Don’t think Cristall is getting enough buzz. I know he’s 19 right now but Misa is also in his 3rd season compared to Cristalls 4th.

Will be interesting seeing Cristall with Hershey next year. Not sure if they play in Belleville or not but I’d love to see the guy live.
