Probably not the greatest guy to be compared to but impressive that nobody’s done this in 25 years

I mean, not really? The truly elite offensive forwards aren't spending their D+2 year in juniors. Some not even their D+1 year. So it's a rare tweener-combination of a player who's obviously great at the junior level, but their overall profile isn't that of someone ready to make the jump.

The whole point is he is a “prolific scorer” at the junior level and the team Canada team who had trouble scoring didn’t take him.

My mistake -- I assumed the whole point was it was "impressive" that nobody’s scored 400 in the W in 25 years.

400 pts over the span of 4 years is impressive. How many other guys over the last 4 are averaging 100+ points a year?

Cristall should’ve been on the team. End of discussion.

I think if you don't count the pp shift, Cristall plays the fewest shift among Chiefs' top6 forward. Chiefs always play Catton-Van Olm as the last shift in the PK, so the first line will miss the next 5on5 shift.
Chiefs still need to figure out what they want to see from Cristall, and now their use of him is not worth the price they are paying for him.

He’s got over 2 points a game with the them though. It seems like they are getting their money’s worth.
