Kid's having a pretty nice season for a 16 y. o. in MHL. Here're the best goal scoring scoring seasons for 16 y. o. :

I'd say that's a pretty impressive list to be in)

There are 8 games left in the regular season, so he might add some more. He wasn't that productive to start the season, but showed a decent growth as the season progressed.

Here are the stats for 16 y .o. playing in the MHL this season :

I've seen a thread about Viktor Fyodorov here, where he's described as the next big prospect from Russia. Alan's having a more productive season so far while being half a year younger.

I went to see him playing a couple of times (yh that's a small sample size). He's not a play-driver type of player currently (he's the youngest guy in the team tho), so he's not the guy who mainly carries the puck when his line is on the ice. He's battling for a position near the net very often, he's not shy to shoot it, if he'll get an opportunity, he'll shoot it without a hesitation. He's physically well developed (183 cm, 79 kg) and not running away from bodying and hitting.

He made me think "Woooow" while scoring a couple of goals that I witnessed. It's not like he scored masterpieces dribbling through the whole opposition, but found a way to score in a situation where you are not expecting a goal (Michkov did that very often in back in his junior days)

Here's a couple of his goals:

His birthdate is September 4th 2008, so he'll be one of the youngest prospects in the 2026 Draft and will have less time to showcase himself compared to the most of his draft peers. I don't think he'll get a KHL playing time next season, cause UFA is not a team that'll experiment with playing a kid who barely turned 17. If he'll progress well, he might get a chance in the VHL, but I'm more then sure that he'll start the next season where he currently is. Playing in MHL + lack of international tournaments is not the best combo for promoting yourself in the draft, so probably he won't get drafted high, but might be a steal, cause the talent is obviously there)

Anyways, I'm glad that to see a talented kid from my hometown. Alan might be the most promising prospect from UFA since Rodion Amirov ( RIP :( )

Is he a C, LW, or RW?

Hi from Arkhangelsk. I just saw Tolpar game yesterday. And yes he is very interesting player. Very fast dynamic forward with good shot. One of the best russian prospects for 2026 draft for sure.
