He does not seem to play small.

Also some sites show him at 5’9 but others as 5’10. Which is it?

last 4 games for the Spurs, 4 losses, Fink has gathered just 1+1 in those games.
Is still 5 points over ppg and leads his team in goals, assists, points
and 3rd in penalty minutes.

next game today (or tomorrow, depending of your location)

2 goals tonight for fink and nominated for the hobey baker

I have a very slight dyslexia, you rush to comment negative stuff before knowing a thing about that person guy.
no worries mate

Penn State (The state University of Pennsylvania) has their nickname of “The Nittany Lions”.

Not sure where the spurs thing came from

If you want to know more about US Collegiate sports just know the South Eastern Conference runs shit in everything but hockey. I suggest you become a University of Georgia Bulldogs fan

And yet couldn't play for Canada's WJC team. Who does the evaluation?
Lots of draft status politics goes into it. You’ll see former top 10 picks make it twice when they don’t play particularly well in juniors after their draft and then they bust in the pro ranks.

currently 2nd in NCAA scoring with 7 pts in 3 games

On the plus side, assisted in both goals in a 3-2 loss to Quinnipiac today.

But only other games the Nittany Lions played were a pair of games against Alaska.

Should at least wait until the Big10 schedule starts before trying to evaluate him and the team.

I saw Fink yesterday. He clearly has some skill but professional projection seems somewhat unlikely. He has a good shot but clearly struggles with the overall physicality of the game. I was expecting to see a bit more physical development in a player that is turning 20 next week, but he lacks strength. Despite his point totals, he is not a player that can really take over shifts.

He obviously has good offensive ability, but if he ever plays in the NHL, it will take several years of development. Don’t get me wrong, there are way worse players you could’ve taken at 218th overall. However, it seems more likely that he’ll be a good AHL player with his current play style. He doesn’t strike me as a guy who is good enough for the top 6 and he doesn’t play in a way that would fit into the bottom 6.

Anyone else seen Fink play of late? Really hard to deny the point totals he's accumulating so far.

Finished with a 4 pt night against Michigan

18 pts (7 goals) in 11 games

5th overall in NCAA scoring as a Sophmore

Outscoring Gabe Perrault (with less games played) and Our 1st Round Pick from same draft year, Matthew Wood

I've watched some highlight packages and caught a few games when on Big 10 network. It seems like has very high IQ and great finishing/playmaking ability. Seems to be fairly elusive/slippery and adept at finding space to score/make plays.

I'm not a good assessor of skating ability, so maybe that could be whats holding him back outside of size???

2 pts last night against Colgate

21 pts in 13 games

currently 3rd in NCAA scoring
I really hope he can carry that scoring out of the NCAA to AHL/NHL. There have been a few smaller players that just dont translate out of the NCAA. His play is great so far though but Nashville's ability to develop offensive forward talent may also be a roadblock in the future.
